An homage to Yard-O-Led’s original 1950s fountain pen, the Retro features a body that speaks to the optimism of the postwar era. Packaged in a polished wooden gift box with silver latch, it features a black resin barrel with an engraved Barley pattern. The pocket clip, trim, and section are all made of sterling silver, which has been hallmarked by the British Assay office to certify its authenticity.
The pen is fitted with an 18-karat gold nib, which is engraved with this designation along with the Yard-O-Led name. Offering a satisfying click when closed, the snap-closure cap can be posted on both the Standard and the Grand without affecting the balance of the pen. The contoured pocket clip is also engraved with the company name.
